Process licensers and catalyst suppliers have dedicated significant time and money to develop processes designed to capitalize on the shifting refinery crude slate and tightening product specifications. New technologies are presented to allow refiners to improve feed flexibility and allow for the processing of heavier, sourer, and more acidic crude in an energy efficient manner while also producing higher-quality products. The following links outline some of the more recent advances that have been presented in Hydrocarbon Publishing's Worldwide Refinery Processing Review since the beginning of 2008.
